Dolores R. (Beaulieu) Pare

CHICOPEE ~ Dolores R. (Beaulieu) Pare, 81, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Monday, May 21, 2018. She passed into Eternal Life at Wingate at South Hadley surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family and her wonderful caregivers. She was born in Holyoke on September 20, 1936, a beloved daughter of the late Rheo L. and Corona (Beaudreault) Beaulieu. She was raised in the Chicopee Falls and Willimansett sections of Chicopee, graduated from the former Mount Carmel Elementary School and from Chicopee High School and moved to the Fairview section of Chicopee in 1965. She was employed as a bookkeeper at the former Doane & Williams Lumber Company in Willimansett and later worked as a bookkeeper for the Willimansett Nursing Homes. Most of all, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who adored her family and showered them with her love and affection which was returned to her a thousand fold. She leaves her beloved husband and soul mate, Donald O. Pare. They were married on November 22, 1956 at the former Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Willimansett and were blessed with over 61 years of happiness together. Besides her husband, she leaves her five loving children, Lynette P. Broders and her husband, Richard, of Granby, CT, Donna M. Lemay of Granby, MA, Denise D. Walker and her husband, Jeffrey, of Belchertown, Donald R. Pare and his wife, Eileen, of Chicopee and David M. Pare and his wife, Stacey, of Belchertown; her ten cherished grandchildren whom she adored, Sarah, Ryan, Leah, Janelle, Justin, Jared, CJ, Kyle, Noah and Rylee; her three cherished great-grandchildren, Charley, Abigail and Christopher; her dear sister, Anita Durand of Cranston, RI; her dear sister-in-law, Constance Pare of Chicopee; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the Pare and Beaulieu families. Her family would like to give special thanks to the management and all the caregivers at Wingate at South Hadley for the excellent care given to Dolores. Her Funeral will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 beginning at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 9:30 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Saint Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her Burial will follow the Mass at Notre Dame Cemetery, 63 Lyman Street, South Hadley, MA 01075. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The parking lot is located in the rear of the funeral home.
