The memorial services for Sarah Strickland Baugher, 66, of Ashburn, Ga. will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. Ms. Baugher passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 after an extended illness.
The daughter of the late C. R. Strickland and Mattie Mozelle Lane Strickland, she was born in Turner County on September 12, 1951. She was a retired Registered Nurse with 40 years of service. She was a member of Amboy Baptist Church, Turner County, Georgia. Survivors include one son, Ben Whiddon, Ashburn, GA; two daughters, Jane (Terry) Peavy, Ashburn, GA; Missy (Stacey) Hamner, Huntsville,AL; nine grandchildren, Ivey Hardy, Brady (Katlyn) Hardy, Gary (Rebekah) Hamner, Luke Hamner, Naomi Hamner, Hannah Hamner, Joshua Hamner, Julian Sodaitis, Peyton Whiddon and three great grandchildren, Cohen Hardy, Remi Lynne Hardy and William Hamner. Ms. Baugher was preceded in death by three brothers, Jackie Strickland, Herby Strickland and Pete Strickland. The family will receive friends Wednesday morning, May 16, 2018 from 10:00 A.M. until hour of service at Perry Funeral Chapel. | ||||
