DOHERTY, Robert J., Marine Corps Veteran, of West Roxbury, died peacefully on Thursday May 3, 2018. Son of Helen and the late Richard Doherty. Father of Jennifer Kavanagh, Robert Jr. and his wife Courtney Doherty, Cheryl Doherty, Lauren and her husband James Carleton. Loving grandfather of Raymond Castillo, Jackson, Aidan, and Mason Doherty, James, Brenna, and Andrew Carleton. Brother of Kevin, Richard, Steven, and the Late Mary Lou Doherty. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Wednesday, May 9th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Tuesday 6-8pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
