William “Bill” F. Crowell of Brockton, MA, originally of Stoughton, MA passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 surrounded by his devoted family. He is survived by his loving wife Martha (Graham) Crowell with whom he shared forty beautiful years of marriage. He was born in Brockton a son of the late Warren and Mildred Crowell.
Bill worked as a custodian for 18 years for the city of Brockton and was happy with the simplest of pleasures in life. He loved the Red Sox, his vacations in York Beach, Maine but most of all his family. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Bill was a devoted father to Lynne Crowell of Florida, David Crowell and wife Lorraine Powell of San Francisco, CA, Amy Boucher and husband Brian Boucher of West Bridgewater, Laurie DeMarco and husband Ron DeMarco of Quincy, Adam St. Peter and wife Amelia St. Peter of Brockton and Katie Kondrotas and husband Charles Kondrotas of Bridgewater. Bill was an adoring grandfather, “Papa”, to Amanda and Melissa, Hannah and Abbie, Henry and William, Isabella and Madeleine, Hailey and Cameron, and baby Calvin. He was also great-grandfather to Justice, Maddox, and Arianna and was the beloved brother of the late Dorothy, Charles, Warren, Betty and Edith.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Thursday 4-7pm. The procession will gather at the funeral home on Friday at 9:30am for a funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 10:30am. Burial will be at a later date in Canton Corner Cemetery.
