Devoted mother of Patricia and her husband Al Fiorini of Plainville, Judith and her late husband Peter Wendt of Canton, and Linda and her husband Paul Struzik of Canton. Loving grandmother of Sarah and her husband Denis Collins, Katherine and her husband Jason Orlowski, Jennifer and her husband Matt Sanders, Michael, Patrick and his wife Dominique and Jamesbrendan Wendt and great grandmother of Nora and Annie Collins, Alana and Henry Orlowski, and Julia and Amelia Sanders. Mae Virginia was born in Somerville, MA to John and Mae Hartling. She was the 2nd eldest daughter of 10 children. She was introduced to a young veteran returning from the South Pacific by her future Sister-in-law. Both worked at the Ames Envelope Company in Somerville. Jim and Gin married on August 3rd, 1946 at St. Josephs in Cambridge followed by a reception at the Commander Hotel in Harvard Square. Jim and Gin rented an apartment in Charlestown where they welcomed their first child Patricia Mae; bought their first home in Jamaica Plain where Judy and Linda were born and in 1959 moved to West Roxbury. Gin was an avid walker and enjoyed sharing time with family and friends. She was employed as a Bakery clerk and cake decorator at Swensons in Roslindale and Walpole. Gin also volunteered at the gift shop in Faulkner Hospital.
