Johnnie L. "Bear" Braden, born July 26, 1935 in Compton, California; died March 16, 2018 in Ventura, California. Mr. Braden is survived by his wife, Joy, and his four children: daughters, Diane Jarvi and Annette Garces; sons: Steven Roberts and Joseph Braden; eight grandchildren: Kathy, Connie, Cassie, J.D., J.R., Angel, Angela, and Chloe; sister, Edna Mary, of Los Banos, California and brother, James Lee of Oxnard, California. He was a U.S. Marine Corps, Vietnam Veteran, an Civil Service Employee at U.S. Marine "Logistic" Base in Barstow, California.
