FALL RIVER – Alfred Santos, of Somerset, passed away on March 14, 2018, in his 91st year. He was the beloved huband of Eleanor Marie (Baldaia) Santos. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Rosa) Santos. Alfred was a member of the Somerset Sportsmen’s Club. He loved to help people. Prior to retirement he worked over 30 years at Raytheon Corporation. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran of the World War II.
Along with his wife he is survived by a son John and daughter Ann-Marie Stultz; brother Manuel; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was predeceased by 4 siblings.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Mary’s Cathedral at 10 A.M. Entombment in Newport Memorial Park. Calling hours on Monday from 4-8 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
