FALL RIVER – Theodore Robert Sanft, age 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 8, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of 49 years to Judith (Platt) Sanft. Born in Fall River, he was the son of Dorothy (Bossé) Sanft and the late Max Theodore Sanft. Theodore coached baseball for many years for Little League and at CYO Holy Name. He was the owner of Ted’s Auto Repair and a snowplowing business for over 50 years. He was also the past President for the Immaculate Conception Credit Union. In his younger years he served for the Army National Guard.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his children Robert Theodore Sanft (wife Sandra) of Fall River, Michelle Cormier (husband Michael) of TN and Joseph Max Sanft (wife Regina) of NH; siblings David Sanft and Donna Castonguay; 6 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
