Goldie Ella Stafford

Goldie Ella Stafford, age 54, went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2018 at Magdalena’s Adult Family Home in Kennewick. She was born on March 2, 1963 to Calvin and Frances (Webley) Stafford in Burien, Washington. She graduated from Kiona-Benton high school in 1981. She was Para Educator for the Richland School District.

Goldie was a blazingly bright and beautiful person. She possessed an unending positivity and faith that held firm in even the most challenging times. She devoted her life to her children and family. Yet she also excelled in many creative endeavors. She was a passionate writer and cook. She worked for the Richland School District as a Para educator in a kindergarten classroom. She was a natural in this role. Goldie bravely battled cancer with an unwavering faith in God. Even in this chapter when life gave her lemons she made lemonade.

Goldie is survived by her sisters, Darlene Mahon and husband, Rick of Kennewick and Denise Travis and husband, Dennis of Benton City; her brother, David Stafford, also of Benton City; her children, Grayson Ingersoll and wife Ann of College Place, WA, Oliver Ingersoll of Pendleton, OR, Preston Ingersoll of Kennewick, Callie Ingersoll of Benton City and Hayden Ingersoll and Chloe Ingersoll of College Place; her grandchildren, Madison, Landon, Hudson and Evelyn; her father, Calvin Stafford of Benton City and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Pauline Stafford.

A memorial service honoring Goldie will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel Church, 10611 W. Clearwater, Kennewick, WA. Flowers in her honor may be delivered to the church before the service. You may leave a message for the family at www.Prosserfuneralhome.com
