WORCESTER- Albert Apraham Barsamian, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Overlook Masonic Health Care, Charlton, MA, after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Alice (Derohanian) Barsamian.
Albert was born in Milford on December 5, 1928, the son of the late Sarkis and Vartanoush (Mazmanian) Barsamian. Mr. Barsamian was a self-employed mechanic for many years in W. Medway, MA, and FL. Albert enjoyed fishing in all seasons, golfing, and bowling. He was also a lifetime member of the Mongomery Masonic Lodge, Milford, MA.
Albert is survived by his loving daughters, Brenda Johnson (Peter) of Ridgefield, CT, Donna Barsamian of E. Falmouth, MA, and Dale Barsamian of Charlton, MA. A granddaughter, Adrienne Banza (Pierce), and two grandsons, Daniel and Alex Mooradian. Two great granddaughters, Liliana and Iyla, and many nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 14, at 10:30 a.m., at the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury St., Worcester, MA. Burial will be held at Vernon Grove Cemetery, Milford, MA. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. Memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or a charity of your choice.
