FALL RIVER – David V. Ferreira, age 63 of Fall River, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018 at home with his family by his side. He was the son of Seraphina (Amaral) Ferreira Moniz & the late Edward T. Ferreira and the former husband of Paula J. Cardoza. Prior to retiring, David worked for Albert J. Todesca & Sons Construction Co. of Boston as a foreman.
David was a practical jokester, he loved to gamble and visit the local casinos, and especially spending time and playing with his granddaughter.
In addition to his mother & former wife, survivors include his sons: Michael David Ferreira & Kris-Norman Ferreira; his siblings: the late Daniel Ferreira, the late Douglas Ferreira, Theresa Wold, Donald Ferreira, Bernadette Ferreira Gamache, Derick Ferreira, Dean Ferreira, & Lisa Ribeiro; his granddaughter: Krista-Morgan Ferreira; nieces & nephews.
At David’s request there will be no services at this time, a Memorial Mass will take place at a later day and time to be announced.
