E. Robert Sebastian

CHICOPEE- Ernest Robert Sebastian, 88, recently of the Fairview section of Chicopee, but lived most of his life in Framingham, was Called Safely Home on Monday, February 19, 2018, at the Soldiers’ Home in Holyoke surrounded by his family. He was born in Framingham on June 23, 1929 to the late Pasqualino and Alma (Anderson) Sebastiano. He was a graduate of Framingham High School where he was the senior class Treasurer and Captain of the Basketball Team. He was a Korean War veteran serving in the United States Air Force. He was a Parts Department Manager for various car dealerships throughout the Framingham area. He was a life member of the Framingham Lodge of Elks No. 1264 and bowled on Freddies Bowling League for many years. He leaves his beloved wife and best friend, Dorothy Ann (Pinciaro) Sebastian. They were married in 1958 sharing almost 60 years together. He also leaves his daughter, Carol J. Cisek and her husband, Jason, of Chicopee; his daughter-in-law, Kelly Sebastian of Jacksonville, FL; his six grandchildren, Samantha Conner, Lauren Cisek, and Alex, Kassie, Connor, and Colby Sebastian; his two great-grandchildren, Catherine and Gabriel Layton; his two brothers, Albert Sebastian and his wife, Eleanor, and Richard Sebastian and his wife, Judith, all of Framingham; his sister-in-law, Joan Hesson of Beverly; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his son, William A Sebastian; his two brothers, Gene Sebastian and his wife, Doris, and Guy Sebastian and his wife, Susan; and his brother-in-law, David Hesson. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Saturday morning, March 10, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Mountain View Baptist Church, 310 Apremont Highway, Holyoke MA 01040. His Committal Service with United States Air Force Military Honors will be held at a later date at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. His family will receive friends on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the St Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
