Obituary

WORCESTER-Eva (Mensah) Banks, 51, died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital after an illness. She was born in Cape Coast, Ghana, daughter of Annan Odameh and Stella (Davis) Korsah and has lived in the United States for nearly 19 years. Eva cared for elderly and disabled patients throughout the Worcester area for several years.

Eva was a loving wife, best friend and dearest confident to her husband Obadan Iziokhai. She will also be dearly missed by her son, Joseph Kwame Boateng and her parents, all in Ghana, three stepchildren, Alex, Shawn and Jeremy Iziokhai, all of Worcester, her five siblings, Alfred Korsah, Jr., Alice Darko, Mary Korsah, Evelyn Korsah and Emmanuel Nana Korsah and several nephews and nieces.

Eva’s Funeral Service and viewing will be held from 8:00am until 10:30am on Saturday, February 17 at CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
