Passed away February 4, 2018. Leona was an avid knitter, loved traveling, playing cards & dominoes, but most of all was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister & friend. Preceded in death by her husband Nicholas Stephan Andert; parents Leo & Catherine Solinksi; sister Letti; & grandson Benjamin. Survived by sons Steven, Richard (Barb), Craig (Linda), Terrence (Jill), & Dawn (Kim); grandchildren Linda, Marcus, Julie, Jenny, Nick, Anna, April, Aaron, Amanda, Dustin, Phil, Jeremy, Cody, Brad, Joel, & Tim; numerous great grandchildren; many family members & friends. Visitation Thursday (2/8) 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial Friday (2/9) 12:00 PM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to Mass. Luncheon will follow the Mass. Private Interment at Fort Snelling Cemetery.
