Paul R. Samson, age 64, of Plainville, formerly of Attleboro passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. He was the beloved husband of Blanche (Pantaleon) Samson, to whom he was wed on September 10, 1988.
Born in Attleboro, MA on April 16, 1953, he was a loving son of the late Roger and Yvonne (Ouimet) Samson.
Paul grew up in Attleboro and was a graduate of Attleboro High School. He had made his home in Plainville for the past thirty years and was a former longtime resident of Attleboro.
For thirty years, Paul had worked teaching developmental challenged students at the may Institute.
Paul was a member and usher at the Plainville Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his adoring family, music, playing drums and will always be remembered for his exceptional cooking skills.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Todd A. Bliss of Tewkesbury, Cherry S. Bliss-LeBlanc of Plainville and the late Donald F. Bliss, Jr. He was the brother of Audrey Violand of Ohio, Michele Dempty of Rhode Island and Lisa Samson of Brockton. He is also survived by his cherished 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
A service in celebration of his life will be held at the Plainville Baptist Church at a later date and time to be announced. Burial will be private.
