Passed away January 29, 2018. Barbara was an avid gardener, loved traveling, fishing, and her dogs, but most of all was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister & friend. Preceded in death by father Robert Thompson; grandparents; & loving dog, Cassie. Survived by loving husband of 56 years, Dennis Nelson; sons Rodney (Rhonda), Mark (Karrie), & Eric (Alexandra); grandchildren Chaniel, Michaela, Landon, & Mitchell; mother Harriet Thompson, age 98; brother Richard (Janet) Thompson; many family members & friends. Memorial Service Wednesday (2/7) 11:00 AM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to Service. Private Interment Union Cemetery.
