Obituary

Mrs. Carmella “Connie” Virginia (Bianca) DiCiaccio, a resident of Winchester and beloved wife of Pat DiCiaccio, passed away peacefully at her home, following a long illness on Friday morning, January 26, 2018. She was 90 years old.

Born in Albany, New York, she was the beloved daughter of the late Peter and Lucy (Pavone) Bianca. Connie was a graduate of the Mildred Elley College in Albany, New York. She was a talented artist and taught private art lessons. She had many showings and had displayed her oil paintings in many local banks, libraries and hospitals in the Winchester area. She was also a member of the Winchester Art Association and the Winchester Garden Club. She was a devout born-again Christian who attended Grace Chapel for many years. Her real passions in life were spending time with her family, cooking and entertaining. She also had a love of music and playing the piano. She will be dearly missed.

Besides her husband of more than 61 years, Pat, she is survived by her cherished children; Mona DiCiaccio of Lexington and Jill Hegel of Arlington, loving grandchildren; Lisa, Gregory and Lillian, dear great-grandchildren; Ava and Gus of Arlington and many nieces, nephews and cousins both locally and in the the Albany, N.Y. area. She was also the sister of the late Joseph, Peter and John of the Albany area.

Her Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at 1 PM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the funeral home, prior to the service, from 11 AM to 1 PM. Interment will be held in the Mt.
