Mary V. Greeley (Stronjy) of Canton passed away January 27th surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Taunton, she graduated from Taunton High School. She previously lived in Hyde Park and has lived in Canton for the last 40 years. She worked for the Boston Public Schools as a Quality Control Manager in the Food Preparation Department. Mary was very civic minded and volunteered for several children’s organizations and animal shelters. She loved crafts, knitting and sewing.
Beloved wife of the late Frederick A. Mother of June-Ann Greeley and her husband John Blossom of Guilford, CT. Grandmother of Christopher Frederick Blossom of Guilford, CT. Sister of the late Raymond Stronjy, Julian Stronjy and Frances Skinner. Funeral Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Saturday February 3rd at 11 am. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Saturday morning prior to the mass from 9:00 to 10:30 am. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery.
