FALL RIVER… Sandra J. (Carvalho) Arruda, 75, of Fall River passed away January 24, 2018 at her home.
Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Hilda (Souza) Carvalho and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
Mrs. Arruda worked as a Stitcher for the local Garment Union for many years. She enjoyed cooking.
Survivors include her daughter, Kim L. Silva and her husband Dennis of Bristol, RI, 2 sisters; Wendy Carvalho and Robin Farias, 3 brothers; Richard Carvalho, John Carvalho, and Gary Carvalho, a grandson, Kyle Major and his wife Amanda, 3 great grandchildren; Autumn, McKenna and Lily, many nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Jeffrey Carvalho.
Memorial Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, January 30th at 11 AM at St. Bernadette Parish, 529 Eastern Ave. Fall River, MA. Arrangements are entrusted to South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA.
