Carmichael, Francis X. "Frank" age 57 of Roslindale, formerly of Jamaica Plain passed away in the early hours of Jan. 21, 2018 surrounded by his family after a long illness. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Alice (Halligan) and Francis X. "Barney" Carmichael. Beloved brother of Ginny Carmichael of Manchester, N.H., Elaine Carmichael of Jamaica Plain, Marion King and her husband Frank of Scituate, Deborah Carmichael of Boston, Richard Carmichael and his wife Joanne
of Hudson, and Patricia Carmichael of Roslindale. Frank was preceded in death by his brother John and his surviving wife Marie, his brother Paul and his sister Margaret "Peggy" and her surviving husband William Foley. Loving uncle of numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. Frank also leaves behind heartbroken family members and many, many friends. Frank had a big heart and would help anyone. Frank's love of animals starting at a young age became his livelihood up until his death. He started working at the Animal Rescue League of Boston and later became a long time employee of Toureen Kennels and Spa in Watertown. All services for Frank have been held.
