WHELAN, Ananda age 43, of West Roxbury passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on January 18, 2018. Cherished daughter of Sean and Doris “Dee” (Jones) Whelan. Loving mother of Nathan Morris of West Roxbury. Devoted sister of Matthew Whelan. Granddaughter of Patricia Whelan, Florence Quirke and the late Michael Whelan and John Quirke. Ananda is also survived by many aunts, uncles cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY on Tuesday, January 23rd from 4-8 PM with a prayer service at 7:30 PM. Interment will be private.
