Sally B. Jackson, 71, of Lynn and a former resident of Salem, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Brudnick Center for Living in Peabody, following a long illness. She was the daughter of the late George, Jr. and Winifred E. (Bend) Jackson.
Born and raised in Salem, she was a graduate of Salem High, Class of ’66. Sally first worked for Shetland Industries of Salem and later worked for Analogic in Wakefield. She most recently was employed as a coder for NSMC / Salem Hospital. Sally enjoyed spending time with her family , cooking and travelling.
She was also an avid reader.
She is survived by her brother, Stephen Jackson, and sister, Gloria M. Wilson, both of Brockton, her sister-in-law, Brenda Jackson and her niece, Crystal Jackson as well as many friends. She was predeceased by her brothers, George Jackson, III and William Jackson.
Relatives and friends are invited to her calling hours at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [ Route 114 / 1-A ] Salem on Thursday, January 18, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM to be followed by her funeral service in the funeral home at 7:00 PM.
