Lorraine M. “Lorrie” Ferry, age 65 of Canton passed away, unexpectedly January 3rd at home. Born in Stoughton, she was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School Class of 1970 and went on to get her Dental Assistant Certificate from Blue Hills Regional in 1971. She worked as the Office Manager for Dr. Staples in Canton for 35 years and Dr. Zhang in Canton for the past 10 years. Lorrie loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She had a special love for animals especially her dogs.
Daughter of the late Helen T. (Curry) and Kenneth M. Ferry, Sr. Sister of Peter B. and his wife Patricia of Canton and the late Kenneth M. Jr. and Thomas E. Loving companion of Jim Walsh of Canton and their Boxer, Isabella. Aunt of Mikaela Shaw and her husband Christopher of S. Yarmouth and her godson Peter Ferry of Canton. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday from 2-6 pm. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Monday at 12 noon. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to the MSPCA 350 S Huntington Ave, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130. | |||||
