WORCESTER: Douglas Leon Ross, 64, died on December 20, 2017 at UMass Memorial Medical Center - Memorial Campus, after a long illness. He leaves many friends including his close friend and caregiver, Jesa Fife of Worcester.
He was born in Montague, son of the late Robert L. and Elizabeth M. (Bray) Ross. He lived in North Dakota for many years before moving to Worcester where he has lived for the last 30 years.
Doug worked in the food pantry at Veterans Inc. for many years. He enjoyed reading and watching television. He will be remembered for his generous heart.
A COMMITTAL SERVICE will be held at 11 A.M. on THURSDAY, FEB. 1 in the CHAPEL at MASSACHUSETTS VETERANS’ MEMORIAL CEMETERY in Winchendon, MA. There are No Calling Hours.
