WORCESTER-Grace W. McNamara, 88, of Worcester passed away Thursday, December 28 at UMASS Medical Center.
She leaves her sister, Dorothy A. McNamara of Worcester; a nephew John S. McNamara and a niece, Patricia McNamara. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John T. and Grace (Loughlin) McNamara and graduated from Saint Stephen’s High School and Worcester State College.
Grace was a lifelong educator in the City of Worcester School system and finished her career as a school librarian. She was a member of Saint Stephen’s Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, January 3 at 11:00AM in Saint Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton Street. Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Stephen’s Church. Arrangements in the care of CALLAHAN~FAY~CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street.
