Henrietta C. (Kelleher) Dellasanta Provost, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at UMass Medical Center. She was 85.
She was born in Worcester on November 4, 1932 a daughter of the late Henry and Sadie (McHenry) Kelleher. She was the wife of the late Harry J. Dellasanta who passed away in 1999 and remarried David Provost who passed away in 2012. Mrs. Dellasanta Provost was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox who enjoyed genealogy and tracing her ancestry. She was a devoted parishioner at St. Christopher Church where she enjoyed volunteering at Friday night bingo. Special memories were made on family trips to West Harwich and Aruba and she will be forever remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
She is survived by her loving children, Sally A. Husson and her husband John of Dudley, James H. Dellasanta and his wife Teresa of Princeton, David M. Dellasanta of West Boylston and Patricia M. Minnich of Sterling; eight grandchildren, Sarah Patrick, wife of Jason Patrick of Shrewsbury, Rachael Mazurek of Grafton, Michael Mazurek of Ashland, Cassandra Husson of Dudley, Patrick Dellasanta of Princeton, Leah Dellasanta and Mark Dellasanta, both of Worcester, Dennis Minnich of Sterling; five great-grandchildren, Anthony Mazurek, Tyler, Spencer and Cole Patrick and Briella Mazurek; a brother, Thomas Kelleher of Ft. Myers, FL., a sister, Joan Lafond of Dothan, AL; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor, remember and celebrate her life by gathering for a funeral Mass at 10:00am on Saturday, December 23rd at St. Christopher’s Church, 950 West Boylston Street (Rte. 12), Worcester. There are no visiting hours. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are asked to be made to the West Boylston Police Department Association, 141 Sterling St., West Boylston, MA 01583. Arrangements are in the care of FAY BROTHERS Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston Street.
