Obituary



WORCESTER-Rev. Perry A. Kingman, 76, passed away on Friday, December 15 at home surrounded by his family. Born and raised in New Jersey, he was the son of Barclay and Eleanora Blood Kingman. He will be lovingly missed by his wife Donna of 50 years, daughters Elizabeth Kingman of Manchester, NH, Virginia Schreiber of Bellevue, WA and Michelle Cox Johnson of Mesa, AZ, his sister Elizabeth Costello and her husband Gary of Andover, MA, his brother Daniel Kingman of West Hartford, CT, several nieces and nephews, and 7 grandchildren.

Perry was a graduate of Williams College, Williamstown, MA and the Episcopal Theological School, Cambridge, MA. He was ordained a priest in the Episcopal Church in 1966 and served over fifty years in parishes in the Episcopal dioceses of New Jersey, North Dakota, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Maine and Western Massachusetts. He was an avid lover of the organ and cello and sang with the Salisbury Singers chorus. He loved trains and the ocean and enjoyed summers on his favorite island of Martha’s Vineyard.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 20 at All Saints Church, 10 Irving Street, Worcester under the direction of Jennifer Caswell of Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home of Worcester. Internment will follow privately in the All Saints Columbarium.
