Marjorie Eleanor “Miss Marge” (Leuchte) Williams was born in Quincy, MA on April 22, 1938 to the late Paul and Francis (Patten) Leuchte of Quincy. She passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 20th, 2017 at her home in Norton, MA.

She resided in the Norton community for about 30 years, at Woodland Meadows for the last 20 years. She was a beloved Mother and Grandmother who always put her family first. She treasured her time working with the children of the Champions After School program, where she worked for the last 12 years. She also taught CCD classes at St Mary’s in Norton for many years and kept her class together as they advanced for several years.

She found joy in baking and bringing homemade baked goods and sweets in for the children and to family gatherings. In 2006, at age 68, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bridgewater State University as a double major, focusing on History and Anthropology. That accomplishment was a tremendous source of pride for her.

Her favorite past times included: reading, baking, traveling, telling stories of days gone by and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Above all else, Marjorie will forever be remembered as someone who loved to give and reveled in the joy of watching those she loved enjoy life.

Marjorie’s spirit will live on through those who she left behind.
