Francis J. Arruda, Jr., 53, of Fall River, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at home. He was the son of Francis J. “Shorty” Arruda, Sr. of Westport and the late Olive L. (Manchester) Arruda.
Francis was born in Fall River and had previously been employed as head cook at the Liberal Club. He was an avid sports fan.
Survivors along with his father include his son: Ryan Arruda and his wife Alicia of Tiverton; 2 brothers: Edward Arruda of Westport and Jason Arruda of Warren; 2 grandsons: Hunter and Hethan Arruda; and many nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
