Paul Laurent Marchand, 62, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
He leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Kathleen A. (Kane) Marchand, a daughter, Heather J. Hodge wife of Christopher and their children; Andrew and Olivia of Cromwell, CT, a son, Todd P. Marchand and his wife Sarah and their children; Curtis and Collin of Hopkinton, sister Michelle Reynolds and her husband Bob, Carl Marchand, Marc Marchand and his wife Anita, Renee Rixon, sister-in-law Sue Marchand, brother-in-law Chris Rixon and nieces and nephews; Sarah, Ben. Katherine, Jack and Brooke.
Paul was born in Fall River, son of the late Laurent P. and Claudette P. (Cote) Marchand. He was a graduate of Newington High School and was also a graduate of Central Connecticut State University earning a bachelor of science degree. Paul retired as president of sales from Semi – Conductor Packaging.
Paul was a car guy, especially sports cars, race cars and also Harley’s and boats. He also enjoyed travelling and was a food enthusiast as well as a jack of all trades.
A Funeral Mass for Paul will be Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 12 noon in St. Joseph’s Church, 10 H-Putnam Rd., Ext., Charlton, burial will be private and at a later date in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield, Ct.
Everyone is welcome to meet with Paul’s family from 11 AM until the time of the Mass (At the Church)
