MILFORT, Shirley, age 42 of West Roxbury November 8th, 2017. Shirley passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family when she was called home to the Lord. Shirley fought a long and courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was the devoted mother of Ezekiel J. Milfort of West Roxbury. Loving daughter of Marie T. (Milfort) Louis and Rene Louis of Mattapan. Cherished sister of Judith Remy-Appollon and her husband Maculo Appollon of Brockton and Marc E. Louis of Mattapan. Niece of Camille J. Milfort, Lucien J. Milfort, Marie Claire Milfort and the late Jacqueline Milfort. Aunt of Kerby, Ethan and Uzziah Chery all of Mattapan. Shirley is also survived by many cousins and friends. She wanted people to know how thankful she was to all who kept her in their prayers throughout her long illness. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Shirley on Saturday November 25th, 2017 at 4:00 PM in St. Angela Church, 1544 Blue Hill Ave, Mattapan, MA 02126
