Frank H. Schulz, age 85, of North Billerica, formerly of Foxboro, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He was the former husband of the late Viola M. (Davies) Schulz.

Born in Foxboro, MA on March 8, 1932, he was a loving son of the late Emil J. Schulz and his wife Doris and the late Mary L. (Bailey) Schulz.

Frank grew up in Foxboro and was a 1951 graduate of Foxboro High School. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.

Prior to retiring in 1997, Mr. Schulz worked for over thirty years as a custodian at the former L.G. Balfour Co. in Attleboro and North Attleboro.

Frank had made his home in North Billerica for the past twelve years and was a former longtime resident of Foxboro. He was a former member of the Methodist Church in Brockton and the Union Church of South Foxboro.

Frank loved spending time in the presence of his adoring family. He also enjoyed staying in contact with his fellow classmates, workmates, attending functions at the Chelmsford Senior Center and was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his devoted son Allan F. Schulz and his wife Cathy of North Billerica. He was the dear brother of Alicia M. Woodeson of New York, Erna L. Russett of North Billerica, and the late John B. Schulz and Judy Russell. He is also survived by several generations of loving nieces and nephews.

His funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Wednesday, November 8th at 11:00 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield. Burial with military honors will follow at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 7th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, Frank’s family has requested and would prefer donations in his memory be made to the Chelmsford Senior Center, 75 Groton Road, North Chelmsford, MA 01863.
