His deep and loud bass voice will never be forgotten. In his last years he became a founding member, and sang in, the North Shore chapter of The Threshold Singers, a healing and hospice singing group. He was brilliant with numbers, and attained Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries. He worked for much of his life at Mercer Meidinger, working with complex retirement statistics. Ed retired early to be able to spend time with his grandchildren during their formative years. He was known to sing and read to them for hours. He was the loving center of his family and will be sorely missed. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service that will be held Dec 2nd, 2017 at 2PM at St Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Marblehead MA.
