Mary E. Robbins (Mayhew) age 78 of Foxboro, formerly of Canton passed away October 21st surrounded by her loving family. Born in Norwood, she was raised in Canton and graduated from St. John’s High School in Canton. She lived in Canton for many years, and had previously lived in Warren, Maine before moving to Foxboro 2 years ago. She was an LPN for several years at the Mass Hospital School in Canton and later for the Penn Bay Hospital System in Maine. Mary loved to travel and enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling and camping. Beloved wife of the late George H., Sr. Mother of Joseph M. Roster and his wife Emie of TX, Elizabeth M. Young and her husband John of Canton, Mary T. Washburn and her husband Charles of Foxboro, and William J. Roster of N.H. Sister of the late Merton Mayhew. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and extended family members George Robbins of Stoughton, Catherine Reed and Susan Robbins both of Maine and their families. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday from 5-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Friday morning at 10:30.
