After a courageous 3 year battle with lung cancer. Beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Preceded in death by parents Carl & Anna; sisters Alice & Delores; & son-in-law Dan. Survived by beloved wife of 64 years Kathleen; children Mary Peterson, Michael (Rosien), Anthony (Theresa), John (Cathie), & David (Tom); 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Helen (Eugene) Yanisch; brother-in-law John Smyrski; & nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Chuck retired from Whirlpool after 34 years. Memorial Mass Thursday (10/26) at 11AM at PRESENTATION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1725 Kennard Street Maplewood, MN. Visitation on Wednesday (10/25) from 4-7PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 7th Ave E., North St. Paul, MN., and also 1hr prior to Mass at church on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church.
