Beverly A. Studebaker (Sacco)
August 20, 1940 - October 13, 2017

Beverly A. Studebaker (Sacco) lifelong resident of Canton passed away peacefully with her husband at her side on October 13th at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston after a sudden and rare illness. Born to Beatrice Sacco Draper of Canton and the late Arthur J. Sacco, she met and married her best friend, her husband Charles R. Studebaker, Sr. and they have been together for more than 60 years. While raising her family, she went on to earn her BS in Mathematics from Bridgewater State, which allowed her to follow her dreams and become a high school teacher. Beverly became a lifelong member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary and was also a VAVS Representative. Bev and Charlie made it their life’s goal to help Veteran’s causes by donating their time at numerous events. She worked her way thru the ranks and became Massachusetts Ladies Auxiliary State President and then was elected as National Chaplain.
Beverly had many talent and passions in her life and was an avid quilter and she loved to sew in her dream sewing room. She was a huge Patriots Fan and loved rooting them on to victory. and loved spending time every March with her husband at their time share in Aruba.
Beloved wife of Charles A., Sr. Loving mother of Donna M. Nashawaty and her husband Frederick of Bristol, NH, Charles R. Studebaker, Jr. of Stoughton, Sharon L. Johnson and her husband TJ of Canton, David A. Studebaker of Canton, and Sandra J. Studebaker of Medfield. Daughter of Beatrice Sacco Draper of Canton and the late Arthur J. Sacco. Sister of Donald Sacco of Canton and Paul Sacco of AZ. She was the loving and adoring grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and leaves behind her adored German Shepherd “Max”. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday 4-8 pm. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Thursday morning at 10:30. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave Boston, MA 02215.
