Cronin, Richard A. of Belmont, October 8, 2017 passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Merzia (Getzoian) Cronin. Devoted father of Arlene Najarian and her husband Gary, Richard A. Cronin Jr. and his wife Maureen and Suzanne Cronin. Loving grandfather of Angela M , Jack R. and Christopher J. Najarian, Richard A. Cronin III, Daniel J. and William J. Cronin. Brother of Mary Leonard, Claire Petrino and the late Major John A. Cronin, Lt. Col. Bernard M. Cronin, Lt. Col. Robert A. Cronin, and The Honorable Vincent F. Cronin. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Korean Conflict and had a 40 year plus career with the U.S. Postal Service. Funeral service at the First Armenian Church, 380 Concord Avenue, Belmont on Thursday, October 12 at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Aram Bedrosian Funeral Home, 558 Mount Auburn Street, Watertown on Wednesday, October 11 from 4 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the First Armenian Church or American Red Cross.org (Please Specify Disaster Relief).
