Sherri A. Bainton, age 50 passed away October 3rd at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Born in Milton, she was a lifelong resident of Canton. Sherri graduated from Canton High School Class of 1985 and went on to earn a Nursing Certificate from Eastern Nazarene College. She previously worked at the family Restaurant, The Hingham Bay Club, and at the Dean S. Luce School in Canton. She enjoyed cooking and was a devoted mother to her two sons and was active in Canton Youth Sports. Devoted mother of Stephen and Joseph Bainton of Canton. Sister of Eleanormarie Mahoney of Bridgewater, and Franklin A. Plotner, Jr. of Quincy. Also survived by her former husband Stephen Bainton of Canton. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Thursday 4-7 pm. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Friday morning at 10:30. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Kidney Foundation 85 Astor Ave Norwood, MA 02062. | |||||
