He served as co- vice chairman for 10 years. Haig served as Avak Sbarabed of the Knights of Vartan, 2009 and 2010. Member of Saint James Armenian Church, 6th grade Sunday school teacher for 20 years. Past President of Council of Armenian Executives and Board Member of Armenian Museum of America. Interment at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Watertown, MA.
