Elizabeth (Jacinto) Botelho, age 85 of Taunton, passed away on September 29, 2017 at Long Meadow of Taunton.
She was the beloved wife of the late Jesse Botelho.
Elizabeth was born in Taunton, a daughter of the late Joseph and Louise (Machado) Jacinto.
Mrs. Botelho was educated in Taunton schools.
Mrs. Botelho was employed with Whittenton Garment, Lorenzo’s, Codex and retired from Motorola in 1994. She was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family. She enjoyed crafts, sewing , crocheting and playing cards with with her good friends on Thursdays.
She was the loving mother of Carolyn A. Enos and husband Al of Dighton, Arthur F. Correiro of TX, George L. Correiro and wife Suzanne of ME, grandmother of Alan Fitzgerald, Joshua Lewis, Zackery Lewis, and great- grandmother of 7, cousins Emily and Richard Pacheco of Taunton as well as all the Pontes families of Dighton. Elizabeth was also the good friend of Donna Morriseau and the sister of the late Joseph Jacinto, Jr and Alfred Jacinto.
Mrs. Botelho’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 8:45 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint Anthony Church School St, Taunton.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd from 4 to 7pm in the Silva Funeral Home.
