Obituary

FAIRNENY Lisa Marie of South Weymouth formerly of Hingham and Duxbury passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by her family, after a long illness on September 23, 2017. Beloved daughter of the late Robert E. and Barbara (Johnson) Watts. Loving wife of Kenneth M. Fairneny Sr. Devoted mother of Kenny and Matt Fairneny. 

Sister of Aylene Calnan and her husband David and Robert Watts III and his wife Dianne. Daughter in law of Jean Fairneny and the late Robert M. Fairneny. Sister in law of Robert J. Fairneny, Richard Fairneny and his wife Cathy, and Steven Fairneny and his wife Jennifer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Lisa enjoyed life by the Ocean and all things related to it, she especially enjoyed sailing and eating lobster. She was an artistic and musical soul who played the guitar and created beautiful artwork. For many years she worked as a CAD designer with an engineering firm in Boston. Lisa was a devoted mother and volunteered with Kenny and Matt's CCD programs at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Weymouth, MA. Lisa had a kind and gentle soul as well as a loving and generous heart. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Visiting hours will be held in the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Thursday, September 28th from 4-8pm. Funeral Service in the funeral home on Friday, September 29th at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption at 716 Mt. Airyshire Blvd., Suite 100, Columbus, Ohio 43235.
