Myrtle Frances Downs, 71, of Fitzgerald passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Dorminey Medical Center.
She was born on November 25, 1945 in Crisp County to the late Warren L. and Clara Mae Rickerson Downs. Frances retired from the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon where she worked as a secretary. She was a member of the Baptist faith and loved gardening and cats. She is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as her cat, Silver Bell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Downs and Clinton F. Downs, Sr. and two sisters, Shirley Whittle and Delores Little. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 6:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel with private interment to follow. | ||||
