Patricia M. (Price) Stevens, age 65 of Brockton, died Monday, September 11, 2017 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was the loving wife and best friend of John H. Stevens, Sr. Born in Patterson, New Jersey, Patricia was the daughter of the late Virginia (Traynor) Price and Henry E. Price. She was raised in Brockton.
A 1970 graduate of Brockton High School, she had been an administrative assistant at South Shore Meat Packing. Previously she had worked at Cardinal Cushing Hospital, Garland Knitting Mills, Zayre’s and Coats Field Stores.
Pat enjoyed camping, crafts and embroidery. She was an avid Patriots fan, and especially loved Tom Brady. Pat loved to sing, and Patsy Cline songs were among her favorites to sing. She will be remembered as an outgoing, honest and giving woman who loved everyone. Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her husband, son, grandsons and her cat.
In addition to her husband John, Pat leaves behind a son, John H. Stevens, Jr. and his wife Deanna, and two grandsons Jason and Matthew Stevens of Brockton. She was the sister of John Price of South Carolina, Thomas Price of Brockton, Robert Price of Halifax, Linda Yeo of Southbridge, MA and Ellsworth Price of New Jersey.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Thursday 4-7pm. A graveside Service will be held Friday at 10 am in Melrose Cemetery (use North Gate).
