Marlena (Pecararo) Benkavitch age 56 of Foxboro, died Sunday September 3, 2017 at Wingate at Sharon after a period of failing health. She was the dear companion of William Brunelle of Foxboro.
Marlena was born and raised in Walpole a daughter of the late James E. and Hilda (Rosler) Pecacaro. Following her graduation from Walpole High School, she also had attended business school. She had been an accountant for several local businesses.
Marlena was a physical fitness buff and enjoyed many activities including dance and competitive wrestling. She supported many community services and was always thinking of others.
She loved all kinds of animals especially her beloved pet Sasha and her life dream was to own a no kill animal shelter.
Marlena was the sister of Gunter Pecararo of Foxboro and Donna Johnson of Webster.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Saturday September 16, 2017 from 12-2pm, followed by a funeral service at 2pm. Burial at a later date in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Donations in Marlena’s memory may be made to the Maryknoll Missionaries, PO Box 302, Maryknoll, NY 10545-0302.
