FALL RIVER… Christie Hernandez, 34, of Fall River passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River.
Born in Lowell, MA, she was a daughter of Axel Hernandez of Fall River and the late Justa (Ruiz) Hernandez. She had been a resident of Fall River for the past 23 years.
Ms. Hernandez enjoyed music.
Along with her father, survivors include her sons; Xavier Junior Hernandez of Central Falls, RI & Jermiah Hernandez of Fall River, 6 sisters; Lillian Silva of Pawtucket, Jacqueline Ruiz of Fall River, her twin, Christine Hernandez of Fall River, Shaniqua Starks of Tallahassee, FL, Bianca Silva of Fall River & Diana Hernandez of Fall River, 4 brothers; Axel Hernandez, Jr. of Charlton, MA, Angel Concepcion of Fall River, Miguel Concepcion of Swampscott, MA & Nelson Ruiz of Fall River, several nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her adopted father Miguel Concepcion and his late wife Adela.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 11 AM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723 followed by interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 9 – 11 AM, prior to the service.
