Charlton
Leon John Duhamel,72, passed away Tuesday September 12, 2017 in West Boylston. He is survived by his sister Nancy Duhamel, with whom he lived, and sisters, Linda Stallings of Myrtle Beach, Wendy Barton of Holden and his brother, David Duhamel of Charlton, and several nieces and nephews and Sam the cat.
He was predeceased by his parents Raymond and Evelyn Duhamel.
Leon Served in the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army and received the Purple Heart.
He enjoyed working in his garage, gardening and woodworking.
The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the staff of Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing in West Boylston for their compassion and deep care for Leon and them during this difficult time.
Calling Hours for Leon will be Friday, September 15, 2017 from 5-8 PM in the ROBERT J. MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd.
A Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10AM in the Funeral Home, followed by burial with Military Honors in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
