Doreatha M. (Koehler) Aguiar, age 92, of Fall River, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017. She was the wife of the late Frank C. Aguiar, and daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Holden) Koehler. She was a Teacher at the Wixon School for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, playing bingo, loved animals and spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Leonard Aguiar, Brian Aguiar (wife Kathy), Darleen Ferreira, Christine Yared, and Laureen Beausoleil (husband Alan), eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday here at 8 A.M. followed by a Christian Service at Church of the Holy Spirit at 9 A.M. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. Calling hours on Wednesday from 4-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you do 3 kind things for others in her memory.
