KEARNEY, Atty. John F. “Jack” Of Dedham went home to the Lord surrounded by his loving family on Thursday Sept. 7, 2017. John is survived by his loving wife Ann (Kenny) and his many relatives and friends. The lights of his life were his son Sean of San Diego, CA, his daughter Erin Collins and her husband Ryan of Norwood, and his grandsons Finn and Rory Collins. Son of the late John A. Kearney and Elizabeth Irwin Kearney of Neponset.
Jack graduated from Christopher Columbus High School, Boston University and Suffolk Law School. Jack was a member of New Neponset Players and Thorny Lea Golf Club which gave him much joy. Jack was active in Dedham Politics and served as Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals for approximately 30 years.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home Monday, Sept. 11 from 4-7pm. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
