Jason "Cry Baby" Douglas, 44, of Ashburn passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the home of his mother.
Born on August 23, 1973 to Hayward Carl Douglas and Linda Kay Purcell Smith, he was a member of the Baptist Faith. He also worked as a truck driver for Clay Harris. Jason loved baseball and enjoyed coaching little league baseball at the Turner County Recreation Department. He was a loving father and devoted his life to his son. He is survived by his father, Hayward (Martha Faye) Douglas of Sumner; mother, Linda Smith of Ashburn; son, Tristan Cole Douglas of Warwick; brother, Stacey Glynn Douglas of Sycamore; sister, Carla Michelle Giddens of Tifton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Tom J. Smith. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery. The family will greet friends Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel. | ||||
