FALL RIVER – Norberto de Frias Medeiros, age 53, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Ana Gabriela do Santos Braga. Born in Lomba do Loucão, Povoação, São Miguel, Açores, he was the son of the late Pedro Rocha Medeiros and Teresa Teixeira de Frias. Norberto was working as a landscaper for R&D Landscaping.
Along with his wife he leaves behind his children Rui Medeiros of Fall River, Claudia Medeiros of Fall River and João Medeiros of Canada; siblings Daniel Medeiros, Alda Rocha, Tomas Medeiros, Ernesto Medeiros and Pedro Medeiros. As well as 3 grandchilren and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial Espirito Santo Church at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
